4th Audio-Visual Rights Market
For the fourth consecutive year, SCELF is organising a full-day Audio-visual Rights Market in conjunction with Reed Expositions France and the French Publishers Association on Friday, 18 March.
• A BROAD RANGE OF AUDIO-VISUAL TOPICS
As members of SCELF, French publishers will be attending the Rights Market to offer film and audio-visual producers a selection of their top books suitable for adaptation. We will be producing a catalogue featuring almost 300 works and an overview of recently produced literature. Each work is described in detail to highlight its cinematic potential. The characteristics of each book can be viewed at a glance.
• REGISTRATION
Producers may take part free of charge. Registration is done online on the SCELF website: www.scelf.fr. One month before the Market registered producers will receive a copy of the catalogue and an electronic calendar enabling them to make appointments by the half-hour with publishers attending the Market.
• PRODUCER ATTENDANCE
The Audio-visual Rights Market is considered by producers to be one of the year's most important events. Easily accessible, free and friendly, this one-day event attracts key players from the worlds of publishing, film and television.
• SCELF
For 50 years the Society of French-Language Publishers (SCELF) has been supporting publishers and writers whose works have been adapted for film, television, radio or theatre. Its mission is to collect and distribute royalties from these adaptations, provide legal advice to publishers, and represent publishers in negotiations with production associations and societies of authors.
